Much as I would have liked I couldn’t stay the whole weekend, I had promised a mate I would DJ his wedding for him.

The turnout was nothing short of disappointing on the Friday, and despite the mouthwatering prospect of the UK’s top modern DJ’s the punters were not to be enticed out on the Friday. However talking to Dave Raistrick afterwards was very constructive and I am very pleased to learn that the event will go ahead later this year.

DJ set list - Square Peg, 31st May 2008

The first of hopefully many more modern nights at the Square Peg in Skegness was very well attended. Number exceeded the expectations of the organisers and the music played was as across the modern board as you will get. A nice dance floor and sound system added to an excellent atmosphere. DJ's on the night were Bogey, Rupe, Dave Raistrick, Kev Thomas and yours truly. Top set of the night for me was Rupe, a real floor pleaser that one. My set is listed bewlo.
